Finally, a Usefull "How To"

How to Dissuade Yourself from Blogging

A friend had to talk me into starting a blog - I was pretty reluctant at first, but now I'm pretty into it. since I switched to LiveJournal, it's even better/easier - you should consider switching; I like it much better than blogger. it's set up better, and easier to use.

I had a blog previously on a site hosted by the Harvard Law School, but decided to switch to this one when I read that it had been acquired by Google.

I might just get an account at LiveJournal, just so'z I don't have to keep commenting anonymously on your site.

not only would you no longer have to comment anonymously, you could set it up so you get an email notification everytime I reply to one of your comments, wh/ includes a link directly to the comment, so that you can read the comment and reply right then and there at the click of your mouse. if you use it as your blog, you can set it up so that you get that notification every time someone comments on one of your posts, too. it's very convenient. I also have a 'friends' list that I can click on, and it gives me the most recent entries of each LJ blogger who I've listed as a 'friend', so I can keep up w/ their blogs w/o having to look each one up separately. last but not least, you don't have to continuously 'prove you are a human' by typing in a word verification everytime you sign in or comment on someone's blog like in blogspot, wh/ used to drive me crazy. How's that for a sales pitch? :>)
